General User Navigation

Congratulations on joining the Jobman Community!

Now you've gone through the 'Get Started' setup, it's time to go over some basic user navigation.

Accessing Jobman

Jobman is a Web Browser based Software, meaning you access this via Chrome, Firefox etc. Go to jobmanapp.com and this will take you to your login page, we recommend bookmarking this page for ease of access.

  1. Enter your login details to get started!

From here you can also reset your password or if you're having trouble logging in, go through to our docs page and raise a support ticket with our team.


Choosing your Organisation

With Jobman you can have access to multiple organisations, once you log in, you will be taken to a page to select your organisation. Click on the one you would like to access.

You can always change between these organisations via the organisation dropdown on your menu.


Your Staff Profile

To access your staff profile, simply click on your name in the user panel. Here you can view or update your details and password, view your timesheet, notifications and tasks.

Then going back to the left on the user menu panel. This is the front end of the software so this is where you'll use your Jobman on a regular basis.

Different staff roles have different access so you may not see all of the features listed.


Dashboard

If you're added as a member to an activity or agenda screen these will appear in your dashboard, where you can click into them to see further information. You'll also see your recent tasks for easy access.


Lead Resources

Click into your Resources tab to view all files, item specs, invoices, jobs & quotes relating to the lead:

Job Resources

Click into your Resources tab to view all alerts, files, invoices, item/job specs, labour, materials, purchase orders, services & work orders relating to the job:


Kiosk

Kiosk mode is for your staff out on the floor or road, so they can log their time against jobs, they can access this from their tablet, phone or laptop! For more information on getting started with Kiosk Mode, read here: https://docs.jobmanapp.com/article/54-getting-started-with-the-kiosk


Settings

This feature will only be available to users who have admin access. Here you can add or update features suited to your business.


Navigation Tips & Tricks


Drag & Drop to Sort

Drag & drop operations, lead/job statuses, steps/tasks in your workflow etc.

Multi Select & Bulk Updating

Hide Work Orders from your 'Jobs' tab

Choose what you see - check this box to hide all work orders from your Jobs tab.

Activity Updates & Notes

See all relative activity within leads, jobs, tasks, purchase orders, invoices etc by scrolling down to the Activity & Notes section. Here you can also add notes!
