Understanding Your Capacity
Your capacity in Jobman is measured by the following data:
- A list of your jobs and their required tasks, including task target dates;
- Your current available hours in each of your labour centres.
Use capacity planning to schedule your jobs according to your capacity, so that all your deadlines are met, and all your "quiet periods" are filled with work as new quotes are accepted.
Before you can see your capacity in Jobman, you will need to have your Target Calendar and Labour Centres set up.

Viewing Your Capacity in Jobman
From the User Menu Panel, navigate to Capacity.
You will be shown an overview of all your labour centres. You can click the arrow at the top right of the screen to select one or more specific labour centres to view (see below).
For each labour centre, you'll see the total hours available vs the number of hours allocated to scheduled tasks each day. This will help you work out your remaining availability, so that you can plan effectively and provide accurate deadlines to your customers and your team.
Tip: Hover over each bar on the graph to see the total available hours vs scheduled hours.
Target Calendar and Capacity Planning
Your capacity planner pulls its data from your target calendar. If you need to view or move tasks around, you will do this in the target calendar, and the changes will then be reflected in your capacity planner.
