Setup Labour Centre Parameters
Labour centres link through to your Agenda Screens and Capacity Planning and play a huge part in the automation of your Jobman. Assign tasks and operations to your labour centres allowing you to better report and plan.
Labour Centre Settings
Access these from the 'Settings' tab from your user menu panel then click into 'Labour Centres'.
To add a new Labour Centre:
- Click 'Create'.
- Name your Labour Centre, for example: Sales Team.
- Using the dropdown under 'Operations' select all the relating operations.
- Enter the amount of hours available for each day.
- Finalise by clicking 'Create'.
Please note: if you do not have any availability on public holidays or weekends, please enter zero's into the fields, otherwise it will default to unlimited availability.
For Example:
You may have 3 sales staff who work 8hrs per day, Monday to Friday. If you allow 7hrs of their working day to go towards these operations you would allocate 21hrs (3 x 7 = 21) to each day.
If one of your sales team work half a day on Wednesdays, you would adjust this to 17hrs 30min.
If one of your sales team also help out in the factory once a week, you would need to remove this time from the 'Sales Team' labour centre and move it a factory related one.
Tip: when setting up a labour centre and attaching an operation, this will automatically link itself in the operations set up.
Edit a Labour Centre
Access these from the 'Settings' tab from your user menu panel then click into 'Labour Centres'.
- Click into the Labour Centre you want to edit.
- Click the 'Update' button, from here you can:
- Change the name.
- Remove or add operations.
- Update the hours if required.
Once you've made your required updates, click 'Save Changes'.
Delete a Labour Centre: if you need to delete a labour centre, either click into the one you want to delete and hit the delete button, or delete multiple by clicking the checkboxes from the Labour Centre screen and using the 'With Selected' dropdown to delete.
