Removing Product Labour from Quotes
For some businesses that offer multiple services, you can easily remove product labour from either the whole quote or individual items.
Example: some businesses may offer supply & install and supply only. In this case, you can have your products created to include materials & labour, when it is a supply only job, use the 'Remove Product Labour' section to remove selected labour components saving you a lot of manual handling and deletions!
Removing Labour from a Quote
Easily remove all labour components from a quote by selecting the labour types from the dropdown as shown below. If you need to remove labour types from selected items only, please see 'Remove Labour from Quote Items' below.
Remove Labour from Quote Items
To remove labour for select items only:
- Click into your item in the quote (make sure you're in edit mode)
- Using the dropdown, select all of the labour types you want to remove from the item.
- Click to save your changes.
Information:
Removing product labour is 'stacked'.
For example, you may use step one: removing product labour from quotes to remove all 'Assemble' labour from all quote items, then you may use step two: removing product labour from quote items to remove the remaining labour types for that item.
This will remove the labour type 'Assemble' for all Quote Items, and remove all other selected Labour Types from each item.
- Removing product labour only applies to labour types assigned to your products, this will not remove any manually entered labour to the quote.
